FAQ

Design Consults

We understand how daunting it is to undertake a new build or renovation and the subsequent decision making that's required on this journey - we get it, it can be overwhelming!

So tap into the expertise of our in-house designers who can help you with your selections and ensure the space you're dreaming of is cohesive.

We encourage you to book an appointment for a consultation in our Wodonga showroom, so that our designers are available to dedicate one-on-one time with you and your project.

Otherwise, if you’re just in the neighbour hood and want to pop in, you’re most welcome to visit without an appointment and one of our friendly showroom team members will be able to assist.

Pre-consult:

At the time of booking your appointment we may ask for you to send through a copy of your plans, any inspiration or vision you have for the space and your timeline. This helps us to ensure your designated team member is prepared and ready to bring your design ideas to life.

Initial Discovery:

Once you arrive, you'll be welcomed into our showroom and will give you a little tour explaining the differences between types of tiles and the variety we have on offer. We will then clarify further the aesthetic you are after and any other details that will help us dive deeper into the world of tiles.

Selections:

Your designer will then guide you through each space in your project, assisting you with colour selections, the perfect tile lay pattern, grout and silicone colours. We can also provide guidance/opinions on tapware and cabinetry if you wish.

We always encourage you to bring as many of your samples of existing features or selections already made, such as;

  • Other flooring selections - timber, carpet etc.
  • Natural stone or benchtops (we currently only hold Caesarstone and Quantum Quartz)
  • Specialty tapware finishes
  • Exterior concept selections or images

Flat lays:

As a momento from your appointment, and as a reminder of the selections you've made and how they all work together, your designer will prepare some flat lays of your tile selections you have discussed, including any other finishes/products such as carpet, vanity, bench top and paint swatches.

Samples & Recap:

At the end of the appointment, you are more than welcome to take tile samples with you to view in your existing space or show you partner/tiler/builder. Your designer will also send through an email recap of everything that was discussed and will be available for any follow up questions you might have.

Quoting & Ordering:

When you’re ready to lock everything in, you can either book in another time with your designer to finalise everything or request a quote via email.

Depending on the overall aesthetic you wish to achieve and your tile selections, there are a range of grout and silicone colours to choose from.

Our team can assist you in-store to decide on the shades best for your selections.

Ordering & Payment

At this point in time, samples can be collected for free from our showroom and loaned for a period of two weeks at a time. We just ask that you return them so we don’t become wasteful!

We encourage you to visit our showroom and view the samples available, as images online are indicative only and can vary in colour shade, pattern, texture and finish.

We don't physically hold stock, though we can check stock for you with our suppliers.

You can either complete a Request for Quote or contact us directly for a response within 24 hours.

In the event that your chosen option is not in stock, our friendly team will advise you of the lead time or a suitable alternative.

We accept Mastercard and Visa, and an order can be paid for in showroom or over the phone.

We also accept bank transfer, and account details will be provided to you upon confirmation of proceed to order.

Please note: All card transactions will incur a 1.9% surcharge.

Visit the item page you are interested in, type in the m2 (inclusive of wastage required) and select 'Add to Quote.'

You can do this for as many tiles as you are interested in, then got to your 'Cart' where you will be prompted to enter your contact information. Hit 'Submit Request.'

We will then send you a quote ready for your approval. Please allow up to 48 hours for this to be received, especially if you require freight to be included in your quote.

From there, once approved you will receive an invoice with details for payment.

Our friendly team is available to assist you with the quoting of your project, so please feel free to reach out at admin@aspireceramics.com.au should you require any help.

We encourage you to double check all of the details provided is your quote, before approving and proceeding to order as any changes made after the order has been confirmed may incur additional charges.

Once payment has been received, we will process your order and notify you once it is ready for collection/delivery.

Further details for collection and delivery will be made available to you during the purchasing process.

We always recommend adding 10-15% wastage on top of your order.

Some lay patterns (herringbone), tile sizes (large format such as 600 x 1200) and rooms sizes may require more cuts, in turn needing additional wastage, up to 20%.

It is imperative that you confirm your tile quantities with your builder/tiler before proceeding with your order.

An 'Indent' or 'Special Order' item is a product that is especially ordered for you from the country of origin.

This means that you need to allow 12-16 weeks for it to be received by us, and available for shipping or collection.

If you're interested in an Indent or Special Order Item, we will quote an approx. timeframe at this point in time.

Most of our tiles are sold per box, some mosaics will be sold per sheet or to the full box, and some natural stone and natural terrazzo is sold to the full piece - you can see this for each item under the description.

This means that for example, if the tile you select is 1.44m2/box and you order 2m2, the quantity on your quote will change to 2.88m2 (which has been rounded to the full box size).

Delivery & Collection

For pick-up orders:
We will contact you via email/phone call when order has arrived and is ready for collection.

  • For reasons regarding to variation in colour, texture, shading, pitting, veining etc.

Should you have some tiles remaining, we believe it’s best to hold onto a few boxes until the job is finished, in case of issues during fit off or future repairs. Anything extra you could try reselling them locally via Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree.

We're so sorry your order has arrived and isn't what you were expecting.

All concerns regarding your order, including shortage, damaged or broken tiles must be notified in writing within 48 hours of delivery. Please also include images of any damage or issues (ideally with the products still in their original packaging) to help us identify the root cause of the problem.

Please quote your invoice number, and any other details pertaining to your request and email admin@aspireceramics.com.au

Important things to note:

• We cannot accept any claims for replacement, repair or reimbursement once tiles have been laid, or claims for defect, size, shade variation or any other fault that should have been reasonably obvious before laying.

• It is the responsibility of the tiler under the management of the builder and/or homeowner to check the tiles before laying them.

• Our tiles are advertised in their approximate size provided to us by our supplier (e.g. 300 x 600). Though, as an Australian industry standard, their actual size can vary by +/- 2mm which should be factored into the tiler's set out including when figuring out if grout joins or patterns will line up accurately.

• The actual size may vary from this depending on the specific manufacturer (e.g. 297 x 601).

• We can’t guarantee a wall tile and floor tile will line up perfectly, despite both tiles showing an approximate size (e.g. 300 x 600) so always measure first.
